In the spirit of Merdeka Day, Mumtaz Generation held a meaningful celebration with our students. The theme we decided on this year was “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up.”

Celebrating dreams and independence

Students flooded the school dressed as their future selves. We had brave soldiers, dedicated doctors, strong firefighters, pilots, and more. The school was filled with excitement and pride as

each student proudly showed off their chosen profession, celebrating not just independence but also the dreams that will shape our nation’s future.

Honouring creativity and unity

One of the highlights of the day was our fun and interactive activity where the students painted their hands with the colours of the Malaysian flag and stamped them together on a huge sheet of paper. The result was a beautiful symbol of unity, creativity, and love for the country, plus a collection of very cute handprints!

Through this celebration, the children learned about:

  • Patriotism – understanding and appreciating Malaysia’s Independence

  • Dreaming Big – expressing their hopes and dreams for their own future

  • Creativity – exploring art through our national colours

  • Unity – celebrating together proudly as Malaysians

Happy Independence Day, Malaysia! May our children continue to grow into the bright future of our beloved nation.

Moments like these spark love for the country.
